The Alitalia Etihad pavilion is designed to be mounted and remounted. Its structure in prefabricated cement is characterized by a system of steel plates which constitute the constructive nodes that allow the skeleton of the pavilion to be assembled easily and quickly. The pavilion has also a double skin which characterizes its design but which also has the function of protecting the inside from the outside temperature variations. Even this double skin will be reused thanks to supporting elements made of tubular steel and its curtain walls.
Pavilion was also equipped with energy efficient LED lamps and an air conditioning system able to detect and reduce energy waste by 38%.
The pavilion will be reassembled and will continue its life in a new location after the event.
