MiCo has hosted International Participants Meeting
MiCo, the Fiera Milano congress centre, has hosted the International Participants Meeting.
On the 31st of march 2015 the Milan Congress Center has hosted the fourth and last appointment of the International Participants Meeting,
During the meeting the Italian Minister for the Environment Gian Luca Galletti spoke about the importance of the protection of the environment. This is the challenge of our millennium to repair the damages caused by the unlimited consumption of the resources of the planet and to redraw our future changing our living habits.
The Minister has underlined the central role of Italy in this new approach, not only as country that hosts the Universal Exposition, but as model for sustainable and healthy living habits, thanks to its incomparable culture and culinary excellence and thanks its extraordinary variety of environment and landscape.
During the meeting the participants to the Expo have been invited to take part to Towards a sustainable Expo programme, launched by the Italian Minister for the Environment together with Expo and Politecnico di Milano, to reward and to give visibility to those who have found the best solutions to reduce their environmental impact during the Expo.
