This initiative, as for the others so far developed, is targeted to civil servants of the Public Administration of the 4 Italian Covergence Regions (chief officers, executives and regional/local technical consultants) as well as professionals of the private sector.

The morning of the 6th October will be devoted to a technical and practical discussion on the sustainable management of water resources, in close connection with the themes of the Milan EXPO. The discussion will aim at identifying useful elements to further develop models and instruments for the efficient use, the saving and the reuse of water resources. This session will take place at the Biodiversity Park at EXPO Milan and is open to the public.

In the afternoon of the 6th October there will be a guided tour to a selection of EXPO Pavillions – which includes countries of the Mediterranea Sea basin – that show traditional practices and new technologies related to water resources management. The participation to this tour is limited to the representatives of the four Regions (Calabria, Campania, Puglia and Sicilia) within the “Convergence objective”.

On the 7th October the regional representatives of the abovementioned four regions will participate to the conferences within the framework of the 3rd Water Festival, at the Castello Sforzesco (Milan), organized by Utilitalia.
