This is a printable guide of the carbon footprint of the foods. It shows you which foods mostly contribute to produce gases that cause the greenhouse effect.
The Guidelines also provides a close examination on how the different phases of the lifecycle of some foods contribute the CFP: agriculture and processing; packaging for sale and transportation; transportation; storage and distribution; conservation and refrigeration. The impact of each of these phases on the carbon dioxide emissions is different according to each different food.
Also this tool contributes to the acquisition of a new awareness on the theme of environmental sustainability.
Good practises represent the legacy that this event is required to leave to help building a sustainable future for the planet and society as a whole.
